Welcome to PilotNews.net, the official online newsmagazine of Lindbergh High School. PilotNews.net is a counterpart to the print Pilot Newsmagazine.
We are proud to be entirely student-run and controlled. Students write and edit articles, take photographs, and layout pages. The student staff is led by the editor-in-chief. Student editors determine all content. A faculty adviser helps assure the Pilot is a credible journalistic publication by only guiding editorial decisions and not controling them. The Pilot serves as a forum for student expression through student editorials and letters to the editor.
The print Pilot has been published regularly since 1951. An online counterpart has been in existence since 1995, making it one of the oldest high school student publications the internet.
